FoodSketz & TRAFFIC organized a week-long programme. They invited artists and participants (including the Atlas Initiatief) to explore what it means to be an artist in the current social, economic and political climate and how we tackle these hurdles with technology, conversation and collaboration.
With the online space they hope to create an environment of equality and communal space; the timetable will focus on topics initiated by participants, as well as an overall framework of the rising need for of the autonomy and mobility of the artist in the Neoliberal realm, and how this relates to the internet, cross-nationalisation and globalisation, and social practice, creating a temporary micro-society.
